The idea for TGOL Teen Center, was conceived in January 1992.
The Gift of Love, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c ) (3) corporation founded by a group of sincere and committed individuals who which to empower, strengthen and preserve family structure. The corporation believes that all children are entitled to a chance to develop and cultivate into skilled and competitive adults.

Most city and rural communities, suffers from a lack of wholesome activities and communication of existing activity resources for young people. The founders of the teen center, recognized that this lack of activity contributes to teens/youth experiencing difficulties "staying out of trouble" and came up with the concept of a teen center to assist in Preventing juvenile delinquency by building Youth Leadership.

Since it’s concept in 1992 The Gift of Love corporation has developed programs to improve the quality of life for the youth, women, senior citizens, disabled individuals, and veterans, which enables them to gain more control over their futures.
